Main Lobby & Admissions Office Renovations I Interior Design I Buffalo, NY I Completion: 2018

For the past few years, we have worked on several projects throughout Buffalo General Hospital and Oishei Children’s Hospital, both Kaleida Health facilities. We were hired in collaboration with Design Synergies to select interior finishes, consult on signature signage, and provide a full FF&E procurement package for the main lobby and admissions office of Buffalo General Hospital. Kaleida wanted to create a clean, comfortable, modern, and inviting atmosphere with more natural light for their employees, patients, and families to feel safe and relaxed.

This was achieved by opening the space through the addition of new windows and a signature entryway highlighting Kaleida’s brand with backlit signage. Through careful selection of materials and placement of signage, we created a safe and accessible environment for all visitors. Directional features include resin divider panels, placement of seating areas, and backlit resin panels illuminating the information desk location. It was important to select antimicrobial materials that stand up to high traffic for all interior finishes and furniture. All guest seating is ergonomically accessible made with easy-to-clean, bleach-safe vinyl fabrics, and strategically placed for easy circulation.
